Ever wake up in the morning and think "I wish I could wind the clock back 24 hours and do it over"?Thats me this morning.

Damn Weeds,and the Phantom Visitor

That's it am banning weeds,after hours in the garden they are still haunting me.And why does grass grow like mad in the garden bed but there are still patches in the lawn?there was some joy this weekend youngest daughter came home from uni to visit her mother(go to a party)but between her not getting in til late,me going to workand her sleeping most of Sunday til it was time to head off I think I saw her for 6 hours total.Did I enjoy the time we had together oh yes!Well maybe not the cranky face when I woke to say she needed to get her stuff in the car so we go meet her ride.But let's be honest if the party was the reason for thetrip home don'y tell your mother that it's to see her.!one good thing not so much washing came home this time,and she did it herself.

youngest son his wife and 4 kids came to visit.YS helped me to empty the trailer and sort through the power tools,he managed to score the air compressor or himself and called shotgun on one of the ladders.We discovered I have at least 6 hand saws,no need to ask how,I'm sure they breed in the dark,so all that is left is to go through all the small hand tools and do some small repairs and another job is out of the way.The darling boy also took all the hardware off the meatsafe that is my next project,i love my strong son.Well must away oldest daughter her partner and 2 little ones are coming this afternoon and the cinnamon scrolls smell ready!

Beginnings

Well I suppose that I have to start somehow so after months of lurking around everyone elses blogs it is time to start one of my own.We'll see how it goes.
